Communicating with caregivers in the field can be a challenge. As agencies grow and the number of patients and caregivers increase efficient communications and the timely submission of paperwork can impact cash flow. Waiting for your caregivers to deliver their assessments and clinical notes on their next visit to the office delays the submission of bills and receipt of payment.
Indura Systems offers two products to eliminate the lag time between services provided and the receipt of the paperwork. iPOC and Clinical Web Notes (CWN) facilitates timely communications to and from your caregivers in the field.
A caregiver, with a tablet PC, iPad, desktop, or laptop (using a wireless card or through a wired connection) can review schedules, fill out clinical forms and notes, including an OASIS and a Plan of Care, and submit them electronically to the agency for approval and billing.
Initial assessments and recertification assessments require a highly skilled caregiver to visit a patient. They are expensive visits and usually require obtaining a signature from the patient at the conclusion of the visit. With your tablet PC, using a wireless card or through a wired connection, iPOC provides your skilled caregiver with the capability to access a patient’s orders and the patient’s history and input patient information real-time, including electronically recording the OASIS assessment and patient demographics at the patient’s home (Point of Care). This information can then be submitted and automatically synchronized with igea Home Health Software in order to automate your current manual processes. The paperwork can then be reviewed by the DON and immediately returned to the caregiver in the field for correction and or modification and then resubmitted to the agency; speeding up communication, streamlining your Quality Assurance process, accelerating reimbursement, and improving cash flow. You can access your business over the Internet through a secure connection from anywhere in the world. No matter what you choose, you are in control of your business.
